Movie File will not play, only sound no video

I have recently created a Movie in Windows Movie Maker on XP desktop. Everything went fine without any problem. I have also added some Audio files in the project. After saving the movie when I try to play it in Windows Media Player, it only plays the sound and video is disappeared. I also tried playing the file on another computer and the same result. No Video, only Audio. It is an AVI file but there is no error. Any idea what is wrong?

This is probably because Windows Media Player is not capable to play AVI files by default. Reason is missing codecs. SO what you need to do is simply download K-Lite Codec and install on your system. Now try playing the same video. It will play fine.
