Roaming Profiles Windows Server 2008

There are 4 terminal servers with me, 2 of them are running server 2003 and 2 running are server 2008. The roaming profiles work when I log onto the servers running 2003, but, they are not being carried over if I log onto server 2008. The 2 servers running 2003 have Citrix installed. While the other 2 we use RDP instead of Citrix. The goal is to get rid of Citrix all together, but we need to continue using the 2 server running 2003 until we can replace those. Can anyone tell me how to do this? Thanks.

I think that sharing the roaming or TS profiles between OS versions always causes issues and it is always best to be avoided.

In the previous 2008 operating system, you have the so called version 1 profiles and Vista and 2008 usesV2 profiles, which could be causing the issues for you. Incase you want more details then follow the below artilce:
