I need some help to deal with Task Schedular Service. I am not able to access the same at all. When I try to start it I am getting error. The detailed information on error is - The executable program that this service is configured to run in does not implement the service. And the error code is 1083. In Event Viewer the error is related to task schedular. There is a executable service configured to run properly through it. But somehow it fails to start. What should I do.
It can be due Task Schedular service. Go in Administrative Tools > Services and check that it is working or not. You must right click on that and set it on automatic. So that when it is called through some application it can start. Another thing you can try is running the same through cmd. Just type net start Task Scheduler and hit enter. It might start working. Make following change in registry-
Take backup of registry before editing.....
