Am using Windows 98 so far on my desktop computer. I know it is the time for Vista but due to some reason am still stuck with 98. Anyways, am here to know whether Google is available for my operating system? I’ve used Chrome few times and love browsing with the same. If it is available for Win98, please let me know where can I download the same.
I am using the same on my XP computer but dint like so much as you are saying. Anyways, as it is the new product, I don’t think they will make it for Windows 98 because even Microsoft has closed the support for the same.
But still as a try, as Google Chrome is an open source project, you can ask for the same in any Open Source programming communities.
As a win98 user, I have asked it earlier in Google Groups if they are launching the same for win98 as well. In reply I got that the browser was in beta stage but due to huge vulnerabilities according to DHS they have stopped the project and it is no more going to be launched for this OS. In order to use it, you must be running Windows XP or higher systems.
