IPSEC and error 7023
The SBS server that I was using was running fine for a few days now. ISA is installed and used as a gateway and Internet access was fine as well. But, I switched off the server and added another Raid1 set for data and started the server. At the time of startup I started getting a message about a service failed to start and then I had no internet access. I do not know if this is the reason of no internet access but it might be it. When I am trying to manually start the service the it tells me that only one usage of each socket address is permitted. Below are the details of the failed service:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: Service Control Manager
Event Category: None
Event ID: 7023
Date: 03/09/2008
Time: 17:41:37
User: N/A
Computer: VOLNASRV
Description:
The IPSEC Services service terminated with the following error: Only one
usage of each socket address (protocol/network address/port) is normally
permitted.

Re: IPSEC and error 7023
The problem that you are facing might occur because the DNS Server service is listening on the UDP port that is required by another service. This problem occurs when the MaxUserPort registry entry is present. This registry entry is located in the following subkey in the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters\
To solve this issue, follow the steps given here - http://support.microsoft.com//kb/956189
