Yesterday I went to Nokia gallery to get information about Nokia N96. The guy in nokia gallery told me that Nokia N96 will be available on 15th september and price will be Rs.40,000.
Nokia N96 price is more than Apple 3G iphone price is 31,000 (8GB) and Rs. 36,000 (16GB).
price of Nokia N96 is very high like 3G iphone. I will wait for Nokia touch screen mobile phone because nokia is going to launch touch screen phone at the end of this year.
Speaking of multimedia features, the Nokia N96 features media keys, a 3.5 mm headphone connector and built-in 3D stereo speakers. The 5 MP camera on board with Carl Zeiss optics, double LED flash and video light is capable of capturing DVD-like quality videos at 30 fps.
The front VGA camera lets you make video calls on this 3G capable phone (when 3G rolls out in India). You can never get lost while driving around the countryside, thanks to the inbuilt A-GPS and the Nokia Maps application that gives you access to richer maps with urban details and satellite views. You can also "geotag" pictures and share them online. You also have the option to upgrade to City Guides, turn-by-turn pedestrian mode and voice-guided car navigation.
This Symbian OS v9.3 S60 mobile phone comes with a full HTML browser and supports instant upload to Flickr, Vox, Yahoo! And Google and access to the Ovi family of Nokia internet services including maps, music, media sharing, etc.
The Nokia N96 will be released in India on 16 September 2008 and the good thing is that it will not be network-locked, so you can purchase it off the shelf and use it with the network that you are currently using. The price will be Rs.35,000.
