Vista's equivalent of "My Network places"?
I want to know what could be the Vista's equivalent of "My Network Places"? I just want to define a couple of links to misc shares on other systems. When I was using Windows XP then I used to go to the "My Network Places" and define a new network place. How can I do the same in Windows Vista? Thanks for any information.

I think that you will be able to map a share within the computer. You just need to right click on an empty area of the Computer and then choose "Add a network location". I think that this is what you are looking for?

Follow the below steps:
- First of all you need to open the Network and Sharing and then pull down the tools menu.
- You can check the option of Mapping in the Tool Menu
- Then in the mapping when you click on the browse, then it will show everything that is shareable.
