Troubleshooting: Ripping CDs in Windows Media Player 11!
In Windows Media Player I have ripped many CDs in the past but now a days I am not able to do it. When ever I try to rip a CD, it says that "Windows Media Player cannot rip one or more tracks from the CD". I have searched for this error message on microsoft.com and all it said was "You've encountered error message C00D10D2 while using Windows Media Player. Additional information is not currently available for this error." How do I solve this error?
RE: Troubleshooting: Ripping CDs in Windows Media Player 11!
I had to do the following things to solve this error message that I was getting with me as well. Open Windows Media Player and then go to the drop down under "rip" and the choose "more options". After that select the Devices tab and then highlight the drive you are using which might be most likely C:drive. After that select Properties and then ensure the playback option is the same as what is selected in device manager. Here you have to change from "analog to digital" rip/playback and also check the error connection box. Hope this will help you out.

Hi Sal........ I tried what you said and low and behold...it worked. One setting was on Analog and the other on Digital so I made them both Digital and I'm ripping as we speak. Thank you so much...giuseppe
