Airtel 8Mbps plan

Hello friends i want some info on Airtel 8Mbps plan is they realy provide 8 mbps connection & what about charges ?

Normally users would be able to download a 5Mb file on 256kbps connection in 160 seconds but with this ultra fast internet connection the users would be able to download the same 5Mb file in 5seconds.

Named as the Shockingly Fast Broadband connection, you can experiance the speed like never before and download a 700Mb movie file in 12 minutes which no other Indian broadband service provider can offer. :thumbup1:

It seems to be a good thing.But will it be under budget ?

The starter Combo 1299 plan provides 8 mbps @ only Rs. 1299 per month. If you think that is good, think again. There is a big catch.

Combo 1299 plan comes with a ridiculously low free usage of only 4GB. Additional downloads are charged at the astronomical price of Rs. 1.0/MB. In this plan 1 GB extra usage would cost you an extra of Rs. 1024 only.

The high end Combo 19999 plans costs only Rs. 19, 999 per month and comes with a decent 100 GB free usage. Additional usage is charged at 60 paisa (.6 Rs) per MB.

The combo plan comes with landline / voice line connection with Re.1/pulse.

No way that's not the plan i would ever choose.
Why only 4GB of free usage & the additional charges Rs. 1 /MB too bad!
