4.0Ghz with my E7200 ! The heat ?
few days are left to get that 4.0Ghz with my E7200, i have been on the 3.8Ghz but the temp of my CPU is too high, it some time reaches 70c
but they are down little ( 62c & 63c ), ok i just need to now how long my CPU can handle this heat and can i run my CPU Fan faster ?
RE : 4.0Ghz with my E7200 ! The heat ?
70C is about the high before it starts crashing. i think you should go with the speed fan that will cool something .

62c & 63c is way too hot IMO. and if you hit to 4Ghz i dont think thats going to be happen for a 2.53 Ghz CPU  , if you want that desperately you have to increase voltages, the CPU is not only be a problem for your overclocking you'll need to fiddle with RAM voltages

I just got my E7200 to 4.0ghz with a lapped prolimatech megahalems with dual noctua nf-p12 fans. could probably do more for sure but the highest temps I've seen are 60 degrees C. Thats after a while of priming fully stable. FSB is 2000mhz. Mobo is a EP45-UD3L.
