I am going to change my laptop and i am not sure which 1 to opt for. I have 2 options with me-
ACER Aspire 7720-6A3G25Mi
or
a portable HP DV9950 EF
I do a lot of office work and play small games. I wish I could listen to music and watch film with better clearity and sound with this new one.
Which 1 would you suggest?
Without looking at the configs, i would strongly discourage Acer. Most unreliable, short-lived, and many other worries. Not expensive to buy but we can quickly understand why. If you want more help, gives us configs of both laptops in question.
HP has better quality level than Acer.
I personally advise you Hp. Yes because Acer have enough problems on screens. In contrast, Hp have lesser problems and these problems sector (charger) can easily be solved through little mod.
Good if I focus on the hp (I am a little very often connected with HP)

Good configuration. It will be more good if it has good value for money. But do not make a big games above, as it is very well for the office, internet and small games (but not quite supportable for recent games like crysis or at least not above low resolution).
I have the Acer 7720Z and am very pleased with it. It works very well for the office, music, film, against one should not expect to run crysis as said above :P.
But it runs at 30 fps, that give you an idea :shifty:
Ok thank you for your advice. I will opt for HP as I think I see a lot of bad criticism about Acer. At the moment I have a medion but I open a little too many applications or that I make it cut games.
