I have finished with my new install. Now when i pressed the start button it checked for all the hardware part and then wants me to install operating system. Here when i put the Vista installation disk enter the serial no. starts installation & again goes back to the initial screen & starts the test hardware thing & follows the steps again. I installed Vista & it asks me to install it again why?
Some more information, i have 2 HDDs & want to install Vista on my primery HDD ie. 500Gb other i have is 250GB
It also ask me to put the serial no again for installation of Vista.
Ok try installing Vista when you have only one HDD attached your primery 500GB HDD. & see what happens
OR you just set your 500Gb HDD as the primery HDD from the bios setup.
One more thing when you finish install Vista & booting up then try going into Bios & forcing your PC to boot from HDD first & then the CD/DVD ROM.
