9500GT Question

I just wanted to know about 9500GT. I haven't read much about this card, but from the specs I have read its slightly faster than the 8600GT but slower than the 8600GTS... any opinions?

Why dont you just google for the card & its benchmarks?

I think that the 9500 GT is truly interesting, if you consider its price, but the two “new” products from Nvidia are a deception, as they are mere refresh, are more expensive and bring nothing new to the market. My opinion? Those products are Nvidia’s marketing at its best.

I guess it might be a DX10 card, not that its worth having on a budget card, maybe its a budget card for people who dont game and just want HD video capability of whatever.

I do agree that given the price point, it makes no sense for anyone to get a 9500GT since a 9600GT is not too far fetch. To add on to the insult, a HD3850 GDDR3 512mb can be gotten at 139 bucks at the moment. It seems that the mem is clocked lower at 1400Mhz, but the GPU itself outperformed a 9500GT quite a fair bit in every benchmark that we threw at them. So the lower mem likely will cause a slight degrade in performance, but will still beat a 9500GT soundly.
