I am using 8MM Sony analog video camera and a Panasonic VHS-C camera along with an adapter to convert VHS-C tape into VCR. My sister-in-law gave me a tape from her 8MM camcorder to convert it to digital. Unfortunately it will not play in my camera and I don't know why. Can anyone suggest me an adapter that can help me out in anyway?
Ideally, the 8MM tape should have played on your 8MM camcorder without any problems. Was the tape damaged or lined? Personally, I have never seen such an adapter that you are asking for.
Make sure that the tape is analog one? Because 8MM Sony analog video camera will only play regular analog data's.
I checked it. It is Sony P6120HMP Hi-8 Tape and I googled it and found that its analog one.
