Blu-Ray HD Drive needed

Well, i started a thread about this but i cant seem to find it so here i am again starting it. Anyways, I am just asking for a Blu-Ray HD Drive from my parents as a gift. I remeber that you guys suggested me 4-5 drives for this last time. But that was not i was astually looking for. I want a Blu-Ray that can burn & play media & also HD DVD if it can as it is secondry. What i rememeber is that people suggested only burners & players & not exactly the same for me. So if it is possible to get this with more options or any suggestions of any dual player or burner would be great. My budget is approx. $250. Thanks

LG drives are very good & all the way to go for cause they are solid performers. LG GGC-H20L drive is just a HD-DVD - BluRay reader that you can choose but with LG GGW-H20L drive you can also burn media. Lite-On drives are also very cheap but they are not that much of quality. So my all money would go for LG drives but others may also have different opinions. Also with the faster burners releasing in few days there is a chance for the slower ones for a price drop.

The pioneer drives are also good & am also looking to go for it & they are also very cheap but with only blu-ray playback i suppose.

The Lg drives look good & with the speeds & media i will have with it seems to be good. Thanks
