Traffic Monitoring

Hi all,

Please tell me if there any software for tracing the machine which produces high Network Traffic in the Network.Eventhough It could be a virus or some thing .But I need to know is there any type of software to use in a network of 100 pcs

I dont know such a software which can track a PC for only network traffic. But Belarc Advisor is one software that i have used which gives details about the PC in which it is installed. Not sure if it gives traffic consumed details or not. But give it a try. If not that, at least you will get some or other genuine information. :)

YOu can use MRTG to trace the traffic for all those PC.. You mite be having a switch to which all PC are connected right can install a MRTG for that particular switch so you can see the Bandwidth usage for those client machine.

You can use Wireshark it will let you track packets/network traffic in your network and it's free!:thumbup1: I use it
