Maya 2009?

Max 2009 ... Houdini 9.5 ... XSI 7.0 .... nothing from Alias (sorry Autodesk) about Maya .... ???

I've seen some rumours about an upcoming release at Siggraph, and that there should be some news to look forward to. Haven't heard any details though...

Wait for them to announce it. Maya 2009 has been in development for quite some time and it features some good stuff.

my bet is a siggraph release. Relax, it is coming.

I think the press release will be on July 31th.

It needs to be good or there are going to be lots of people leaving it.

First thing is to get 64-bit Mac Leopard support. Second thing is to speed up the internal renderer by 100.
