Well, it seems that Micromax support only repair/update their mobile phone at their center it seems as there is no download available for its firmware or anything mentioned on how to update micromax mobile phones. Can you try to take it to a mobile repair shop and ask them if they can do a software update, usually by paying for their charges. :blink:

I think that this Micromax q75 mobile phone is based on MTK platform, so you will need a mtk software to flash it to the new operating system. Type in *#8375# in your mobile phone and check if that sets the phone to factory settings to an fresh operating system. But before doing it. always remember to backup your important data, contacts, etc.

Hi I tried *#8375#, it only gives me all the build info no info on resetting the phone

Hi Jumperdog, if u r facing problem with headset mode..... plz find the ear phone pin point there is one small pin its pressed to the down words. now u can juz pull up with that one. next switch off and switch on that time ear phone headset mode will go off. now u can enjoy.......... i hope u understand the problem. previously i faced same problem in second day only.........

Simply plug in your earpiece which will change the profile to Headset then unplug it will to general.
this has work around me.
