You might have downloaded the PC suite that is not compatible with your phone and that is the reason that you are getting the problems like this. My suggestion to you is to see for the supported phones for the PC suite before downloading that. If your phone is there in the list then only download and install that in your computer.
I'm not able to find suite for windows 7!!
