EventID: 101, 103 + 108 (Software installation policy problems)

There is some problem with software installation policy. It looks the gpo is not taking proper effect due to which I am getting constant error. When I try to install any software and restrict the same through gpo I am facing errors. The event id mentioned is 101, 103 and 108. This error does not allow me to configure the policy. I am getting a error saying that software installation failed due to some error. How can fix the same.

The reason is because the policies are not applied properly due to which you are getting error. It is necessary that you must reconfigure the gpo and this follow some manual. There are ample of resources available on technet that would guide you for the exact process that you are looking for. It is not at all complicated. You can go in event log and there you can find more information related to the problem you are facing.

Post a little bit old, but it may be useful to someone my solution.
I got an error 101, 103, 108, as well as 1085, when the network shared resources were located on an NTFS volume with the attribute "compress drive to save disk space". When I removed this attribute - the error no longer appeared.
