How to disable games in Windows XP
I need some help here to disable all the games in Windows XP. I am unable to work on the same. I am trying to do the same through GPO. There are around 10 workstations on the network. I had seen people playing games while working. I want some help here to disable the settings so that no one would be allowed to play the same. I went into Windows Component, but cannot find any settings related to same.
re: How to disable games in Windows XP
I used Server 2008
No code monkeying necessary.
I used this google chrome block except I chose -> programs -> games, right clicked on each of the game and chose properties. I copied the line from the target box. if they looked like this for example
%SystemRoot%\system32\sol.exe
but for the internet games I left out the "s and just pasted this
C:\Program Files\MSN Gaming Zone\
that will block them from all the windows internet games i.e. internet checkers.
here is the link to get you started.
Hope this helps. It was the easiest for me. =)
