Vista driver for Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG
Failed driver of Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG is causing my wifi to disconnect frequently. Basically I avoid using wifi connection. I am having a lan cable that use to surf web and access my network. But due to some work I through to try the wireless this time. I had upgraded to Vista some months ago. I used the default driver cd that I received with the laptop. I started the wifi and Vista showed me some new hardware found. It located the driver and the setup was done. The driver edition that is used was 11.1.0.0. But the wifi breaks constantly. After searching on web I found that this adapter works well with 10.1.1.7 version driver. I cannot find any option to locate that version of driver. How can I do that.

I found a link that offers all drivers for this adapter. You can try downloading all of them and testing one by one which will work. Just go in Device Manager right click on the adapter and uninstall it. Then on reboot use the new drivers you had downloaded. You can keep on doing this unless the device starts working properly. Start from the most latest edition and then move back to the older one. Another link below offers you a basic troubleshooting options to deal with different connectivity problems.
