Hey guys,
I know it will sound pretty strange but am looking for Product key of Office 97. I was using this since long years and now want to install this on a new PC. But as the CD is very old, product keys are not visible because of the damaged key sticker.
Is there anyway I get the product key so that I can install this on my new computer? Please help.
I don’t think it is possible because it is a very old software and Microsoft has already stopped it support very long time ago. We are not in era of Office 2007, there is no Microsoft service offering support for 97. The only way you can get is to try recognizing the keys from the CD’s damaged sticker itself using magnifying glass. Hope you can retrieve it.
Product key for Office 97, hope you are not kidding. There is no one who can provide you these keys. BTW, is it installed somewhere, I mean on any PC that is working now? If yes, than that is the last and only way you can retrieve the keys for Office 20oo7. Just download a third party software called Belarc Advisor or Magical JellyBean. These are the key finder programs.
When you install any licensed programs, its product keys get saved under registry key and are encrypted. Hence we manually cannot locate them but these key finder programs will retrieve it for you. Just download, install, and run them. You will get you product keys. Once you get, better save them somewhere safe.
