cannot uninstall or reinstall NETGEAR WG111T wireless adapter
Using windows Vista and facing some problem with my Netgear router. I’m using NETGEAR WG111T wireless adapter since I installed Vista on this computer and is working fine. But now when I’m trying to install the latest driver version of the same I get an error message saying:
“An error (-5006 : 0x80004005) has occurred while running the setup.”

As far as I know netgear wont proper with NICs. So you need to pull out the NIC from the memory while deleting the old driver. Once done, install the latest driver and then reinstall the adapter again. This should help. Give it a try and reply back the results.

I appreciate and thank you for the help and suggestion JUSTICE. But the problem is am not so tech freak and hence I don’t know what is NIC and how can we pull it out. Can you please tell me its process? Also should I delete the drivers form device manager?

Well NIC stands for Network Interface Card. You can get it in Add and Remove programs or from device manager itself. Just go there an uninstall the same.
