Error 1053 problem with starting a service
I am trying to start a service (Service ProtexisLicensing) in Vista but am
constantly getting this error message.
Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a
timely fashion
I'm running Vista on a PC

Am now getting this message as well
nTitles PSIService stopped working and was closed
I am trying to install upgrade Painter X on my PC and PSIService is a 3rd
party piece of software that installs with it to monitor licensing.

Downloaded updates as per the knowledge base article you gave me but no
change. Still getting error.

The next step would be contact the application's tech support. This is
Corel's product, correct? I would contact them.
