Backup page missing in Server Management "The Page Cannot be Displayed"
Some time ago, I went from Server Management to the Backup page, only to receive the blue "i" with the following:
"The Page Cannot Be Displayed:
A problem has occurred with the Manage Small Business Server Backup snap in. Close and re-open Server Management. If this problem continues, restart the IIS Admin Service."
I have restarted IIS but getting same thing. Can anyone tell me where does this page reside and how I can get it back? Every task in the left pane work, SBSBackup runs fine, just the main body of this page is missing and I want to repair it. There are also no error logs in the Event log about this event? Any ideas?
RE: Backup page missing in Server Management "The Page Cannot be Displayed"
To back up the IIS 7 configuration from a command prompt
- Log on to the Windows Server 2008 computer that is hosting the Operations Manager 2007 components with an account that has administrator rights.
- Open a command prompt by using the Run as Administrator option and change directory to %windir%\system32\inetsrv.
- At the command prompt, type appcmd add backup <backupname>. If you do not include the name of the backup, the system will name it for you by using a date, time format.
