I need some help to create a script that can allow me to auto rename a computer. I am having a series of systems on the network. It is not possible for me to rename all of them one by one manually. I want some script type help that do that automatically. Another thing I script must also having settings that can rename the computer and then join them to the domain. Thanks.
See if you do not need any error or problem then why don't you go with the manual way of renaming each of them one by one. If there are limited computers then this is one the best way to avoid errors. You might be able to get scripts from web, but if something wrong happened then all the computers will be screwed at one time.
