I need some help accessing PWA. Whenever I try to access Resource Center on my system, it give me an error message saying “PWA active x control is needed” and it shows a Download URL. When I click that URL, it generates one more error and says “The controls for Project Web Access cannot be downloaded correctly. To download the controls: (with various solutions/troubleshooting steps).”
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Hello Lima, just follow these steps:
- Start Internet Explorer.
- On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
- Click the Security tab, click Trusted Sites, and then click Sites.
- In the Add this Web site to the zone box, type the Web address for your Microsoft Office Project Web Access site if it is not already present.
- Click Add, and then click OK.
- Click Custom Level.
- For the following five ActiveX controls and plug-ins settings, click either Enable or Prompt, depending on whether you want to be prompted before you load ActiveX controls
