Error Code 8020000D
Hello everybody,
today i was trying to update MS Vista 64bit and i got the error: Code 8020000D
Update includes:
Definition Update for Windows Defender - KB915597 (Definition 1.15.2233.6),
Type - Important, Published - 2/8/2007
Windows Vista Ultimate Language Packs (15) and they're optional, so i don't
choose them.
Looking in help section i couldn't find what does it mean.
2 or 3 days before all updates were succsesful.

What does this error message mean? Why did explorer 7 fail to update?

That was just an example. Another one might be that BITS would be trying
to use a network volume as a temporary download location and wanting to
create a directory there but not having the necessary permissions to do that.
Etc.
Always check the log for the context of the code. There are usually
useful clues in it. If necessary you may have to enable verbose logging.

Alternatively, supplement any logging with traces of the registry and file
accesses being done by using ProcMon (downloadable from TechNet.)
