Vista not recognizing 82845G Intel Graphics Controller drivers

I had upgraded my system to Windows Vista. After upgrade I found that the existing drivers that I am using will not work on it. I had bought the DVD of Vista just recently. I was completely not aware that this would happen. It looks a waste of money on Vista. I am bit doubtful about going back on XP. I am sure I can find some people who are using Vista on the similar chipset that I have. I need Intel 82845G Graphics Controller drivers. Thanks in advance.

There is a bad news. There is no Vista driver available for 82845G Intel Graphics Controller. I had checked the same on the official website and found nothing. If you want you can also check on the below link. The list of OS shows you mostly XP drivers. You can do one thing. Right click on the XP drivers and choose Properties. Go to Compatibility mode and click on Windows XP. Run the setup and then just check whether it is going to work or not.
