Error 0xC0000225
I have got an Asus Laptop which is running Ati graphics with amd processor and 512 mb ram. When I am trying to install Vista then when the progress bar goes till 100% the screen will become black and then I will get the following error that says:
Unextected error has occurred
0xC0000225
Can anyone please help me out. Thanks

The error code that you are getting is due to the fact that the BIOs is not being recognized as a fully ACPI compatible one. Have you tried doing the latest update for the BIOS on the laptop? See if that solves the issue or not.

It is not a problem with the ACPI which is Advanced Configuration and Power Interface but the problme with the APIC which is Advanced Programmable
Interrupt Controller. So you need to get into BIOS setting and then enable the APIC, that might be disabled. After that try to boot with the Vista installation disc and then everything will be working again.
