Error 0x800B0003

When I connect to the update site I get thius error. The undate log file
entry is:

The KB article did not address the error code I received. The Sccbase.dll
file is not present and I registered all the others in the article anyway. I
still get the same error.

the error code 0x800B0003 means

TRUST E SUBJECT FORM UNKNOWN

And i think that is a issue related to digital trust certificate(s)

so go to IE/tools/manage add-ons/ and see if the Wuwebcontrol class is
listed and enable,

Also, review if under the "advanced tab" and uncheck "use HTTP 1.1." and
check the box "HTTP 1.1 Trough proxy connections" go to windows update
again and if the issue does not get fixed, check both boxes

If all my suggestion fail, post the related part containg error in the
windowsupdate.log .
