hi
i want to collect computer hardware prices in various cities in india
my plan is to gather information to find a difference in the rates by % in these cities
can you guys help me with this project ?
lets consider prices in mumbai city first only for foll. products
Pentium Processors
AMD Processors
Asus MotherBoard
Intel MotherBoards
Seagate, Samsung Hard-Drive
15" and 17" Monitors
the difference in rates is minimal
and by that i mean ranging from 100 bucks to 1k ...dependin on the product and its official price ( higher the price the more differences u might see )
however in any city u just need to know the right place for the right price

chennai prices
i have been to that place but most of the prices are outdated
why dont we start a similar thing here something like vsnl guys have made up ?
we can ask site admin to make a diff sections for prices.... and then withing that sections for processors... speakers.. etc etc. and whoever knows the latest price can keep on posting.
amitmk this is what i was referring too, if something of that is available then few members from all cities can help in adding prices for various products int here cities
this way everyone gets a list of updated prices too
i can help in getting some little information about hardware price from my vendor in mumbai
I think it' s a wonderful idea, and is gonna be of great help to everybody around.
