Dell Precision M3800 Ubuntu-powered Developer Edition 'beast' unveiled
The manufacturer Dell has updated its Precision M3800 laptop which now offers Ultra HD 4K display.
Primarily aimed at the professional market, the ultrathin laptop Dell Precision M3800 leaves indeed a slab of 10 points multitouch with 15.6-inch screen supplied by Sharp, and is able to display a definition of 3840 x 2160 pixels and benefits from a Gorilla Glass protection against scratches.
Another notable new feature is the presence of a Thunderbolt 2 connector to 20 Gbit/s and increasing the storage capacity that can now reach to 2TB hard drive.
For the rest, it has an Intel Core i7 quad-core fourth generation and RAM up to 16GB and a Nvidia Quadro K1100M 2GB graphics solution. All in less than 2 kilograms, to a thickness of 1.8 centimeter.
On the US site of Dell, there is a 4K configuration with a quad-core processor from 2.30GHz to 3.30 GHz, 8 GB RAM, a 500GB hard drive and Windows 8.1 to 1749 dollars. 4K option is not yet available on the many portal at the time of this writing.
