The Evil Within PC version locked at 30FPS

Bethesda Softworks has provided some details about the PC version of The Evil Within, noting that the game will be locked at 30 frames per second. However, it will be possible to modify this option in-game, and other technical adjustments. Explanations.

Due for release next week, The Evil Within is much awaited game for the fans of survival horror. The title of Tango Gameworks has however detailed its PC version, which requires configurations minimum and recommended rather greedy.

Bethesda Softworks, the publisher of the software, revealed on its official forums that the PC version of The Evil Within will run at 30 frames per second. If we believe that framerate is blocked for some reason, we learn that the debug options will be proposed by the developer.

Also, it is possible to manually change the refresh rate of the game, as well as other parameters such as aspect ratio (initially 2.35:1). However, the publisher recommends that you do not change these settings, under penalty of loss of overall performance.

Finally, it was confirmed that the title will support 4K for owners of screens and graphics cards compatible with the Ultra HD resolutions.

The Evil Within will be released on October 14, 2014 in Europe for PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360.
