Antec or Cooler Master PSU for Radeon R9 280
I am having a very simple question to ask you guys. Right now I am using a GTX 650 graphics card and I am looking to upgrade to a Radeon R9 280, so for this I want to purchase a bigger power supply, so I would like your recommendations on same. I was looking at 2 power supplies, namely COOLER MASTER GXII RS750-ACAAB1-US 750W and Antec TruePower Classic series TP-650C 650W. I want the PSU to be semi-modular with 80 plus gold efficiency. Any inputs would be welcomed. Thank you
Re: Antec or Cooler Master PSU for Radeon R9 280
The Antec TruePower Classic TP-650C 650W is a 80 PLUS GOLD Certified power supply. It is a good power supply that will give ample of power to your Radeon R9 280 graphics card along with all the other hardware. It has a very good cooling fan which remains too quiet. This power supply unit comes with more than enough connectors for connecting whatever other hardware peripherals you are looking to build in your computer. It is a highly recommended psu.
Re: Antec or Cooler Master PSU for Radeon R9 280
I would also suggest you to go for the Antec TruePower Classic series TP-650C 650 watt psu. I am using this Antec power supply for more than a year now and havent faced any issues so far. Previously I was using another brand PSU which lasted for only 2 years. I even bought Seasonic psu but received 2 bad ones in a row. I also like the Corsair brand power supplies which is made up of good quality. The best part about this PSU is that it has longer durability of 5+ years.

The COOLER MASTER GXII RS750-ACAAB1-US 750W is also a good power supply. It is a high quality psu and can also power your beastly Radeon R9 280 video card with ample of power. I purchased this power supply because my old radeon graphics card performed well on this without any issues. After using this with the upgraded graphics card I was even able to overclock my GTX 760 with ease. If you are a gamer then I would definitely recommend you to buy this psu.
