I have recently purchased a new Sony PRS-T3 ebook reader but it is in some differnet Japanese language. I was thinking if I can update the firmware of this ereader so that I can change the interface to English menu. But I dont know how to do that? I have already tried asking Sony but didnt get any solution. So, if there is any other way to update firmware on this device then please let me know. Thanks
It is easy to change the language interface in Sony PRS-T3 ebook reader but I know how to do that in its English ebook reader version. You just have to go to Settings and then Change the Settings > General Setings. After that go to Menu Language and then Set the menu language to English or whatever you want. I am guessing that you have got yourself a device straight from Japan and hence you are not able to find English language or interface on it. It was stated that there are no available updates to change the Sony PRS-T3 ereader language to English because it was manufactured in Japan and each of these product is designed to function in a specific country side. So, I am afraid that you will not be able to change it to English language or vice versa as it is region wise disributed.
