Nokia Lumia 1520V Technial Specs leaked: Mini version of Lumia 1520

The Lumia range also comes in the Mini version, similarly like the Android devices. Rumors from China suggest the equivalent of a Lumia 1520 Mini smartphone.

Besides smartphones reference highlighted with deep pockets to try to seduce the audience and stand out from the competition, many manufacturers of Android devices have also opted for the variation in Mini version of these smartphones.

This is to provide an alternative in a more compact format and with features slightly lighter but still close to the original model and respecting the spirit of the device in terms of design and functionality.

After the Galaxy S3 and S3 Mini, Samsung Galaxy S4 also proposed S4 Mini and it should do the same with the Galaxy S5 probably followed by a S5 Mini. HTC proposed HTC One Mini after HTC One and Sony is also producing a Xperia Z1 Mini after Xperia Z1 smartphone unveiled in the year 2013.

Because of this evolution in Android devices, it could be also happening in Windows Phone. Chinese website WPBar claims that Lumia 1520 Mini phablet presented by Nokia in October 2013, is in preparation under the name of Lumia 1520V.

The device would have a display 4.3" full HD with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of free storage expanded with a microSD card. Nature of the processor is not known but it could keep the Snapdragon quad core processor of the phablet.

It also comes with a camera of 14 megapixels PureView and 3000 mAh battery. The Lumia 1520V or Lumia 1520 Mini could be unveiled after the arrival of Windows Phone 8.1 in April 2014 and could correspond to a global version of the Lumia 929 (which however would have a display of 5").
