How to use the USB port on the beetel Wifi 450TC1
Hi,
I use the wifi and net on the beetel 450TC1. I found a USB provision on the router but there is no plug/port. If I go ahead and fix one, would I be able to use the usb point as NetUsb. I have a USB hub wired and intend to connect my router to it, so that I can access other USB devices I have, via the router's wifi connection.

It looks to me that you are attempting to use a regular dsl modem or router with a 3g wifi device and you cannot do that am afraid. You will need a router that can work with the wifi dongle like Netgear 3G/4G Mobile Broadband Wireless-N Router or so.

Hello,
On the beetel 450TC1 is a USB provision. I want to know how would I be able to use the router, if I fixed a USB port. The router did not come with a port fixed but has a provision on the circuit board to fix one.
Please help.

The router has USB-B Port. As per the specification the router supports usb devices. Like a usb printer. You have to connect the same first and go in the router admin panel. Under usb just check if there is any device listed or not. If not then it means it is not compatible with the router. Devices will only work with this router if they are compatible. Try to find out the router manual. This will give you more detail information on its configuration.

AliyaK,
Thanks for your reply. The problem is, that, I cant get to the router's admin panel. The browser does not show me the router's login page after typing in 192.168.1.1. Infact pinging 192.168.1.1, gives no response. I do get ipaddresses for new devices connected. I can connect more than one device to the router. But cannot get to the 192.168.1.1 page. I checked the router circuit board again and it has the USB provision there. Needed to clarify from you, since you have mentioned USB-B, I think it should be a USB-A female point.
Sadly, there are no connectors available in the market as I checked. I cannot say why. Its going to be hard to get one.
The connection information on my computer I have is,
Ip address: 192.168.1.2
Broadcast address: 192.168.1.255
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default route: 192.168.1.1
Primary DNS: 192.168.1.1

To find the IP address of your router you have to first find the default gateway. You can type ipconfig /all in cmd. This will give you the list of information to locate the IP address of router. 192.168.1.1 belongs to the modem and 192.168.2.1 is one of the most common router IP. Some uses 10.1.1.1. Just type ipconfig /all and check the ip under default gateway. Type that in your browser. The router will ask you login details. Admin/Admin is the most common user and password.

Yes, I have used beetl USB and I have found, that model is wireless capable. Looks like you just need to activate it within the settings of the router.
This is pretty localized question and you may find better help by calling you service provider.
