Nexus 5 smartphone camera gets improved with Android 4.4.1 KitKat update
Google has started the deployment of Android 4.4.1 on the latest additions to its Nexus range. Nexus 5 is particularly concerned with significant camera enhancements.
Nexus 4 and Nexus 5 phones and Version 4G (LTE) of the 2013 edition of Nexus 7 tablet are now likely to receive a new update to Android 4.4.1. Still belonging to the KitKat branch, it is an OTA (over the air) or a incremental update to a relatively modest weight (about 50 MB) category.
For the Nexus 4 and the Nexus 7, the changes appear to be relatively modest: a few additional cosmetic details, and a new radio layer. However, the update reveals much more interesting part for the Nexus 5 as its camera looks to be clearly improved.
The launch of the photo application is quite faster, and most importantly, the pictures grew significantly: more exposed, with automatic white balance and more accurate colors and a more responsive auto-focus. What can undoubtedly contribute to the success of a device that is already being recognized for its excellent price/performance ratio.
Deploying Android 4.4.1 has started but the software will be distributed throughout the devices concerned over the next few days.

Yes, I can confirm that within a weeks time after the release of 4.4.1 update Google has now released the 4.2.2 update for the Nexus device. Many people in India have received this update already. The size of this update is only 54mb. This update includes some fixes for Nexus 5 camera with faster shooting because of less shutter lag and less motion blur. There are also some other bug fixes and performance improvements in this update.
