replacing fan for Antec Kuhler 920.
I recently bought a new Antec Kühler H2O 920 which is working fine without any trouble. But after sometime the fan started giving loud sound, so now I am looking to replace the stock fans from it only and dont want to buy another cooler. Or is there anything that can be used to control the fan speed? Thanks for any suggestions.
Re: replacing fan for Antec Kuhler 920.
You can go with the Noctua NF-P12-1300 120mm Case Fans. It is a very quiet cooler and also moves a lot of air. The design of if is nicely constructed. I am using it for the past 2 years and still it is very quiet and keeps my i5 core cooler. Even without the low noise adapters, it is very silent and has good pressure. You can easily get it at approx. $24.99.

I guess that the COUGAR CF-V12HP Vortex Hydro-Dynamic-Bearing (Fluid) 300,000 Hours 12CM Silent Cooling Fan with Pulse Width Modulation will be a cheaper solution for you. Check if it is available on any online store or you can eventually get the typhoons fans for getting good temperatures for the back of the panel. The cougar usually comes with rubber screws and molex adapter and also pushes a lot of air.

You can also change the stock fans of Antec Kuhler 920 with the Akasa APACHE Black Fan 120mm fan with 4 pin. Even if they are set to full, they give a very quiet noise and it almost makes no sound if kept at Silent mode, thinking that the fan is not rotating at all. With this fan you will not get a high temperature above 40-50 degree even after a long session of gaming.
