Yesterday I have bought Photon 4G HD Dock for my Motorola Photon Q and have found that it won’t work, I wasn’t aware that Motorola Photon 4G Q’s HDMI & micro USB slots are at different location as compared to Photon 4G. It seems as if Motorola has changed it purposely for earning more money from their customers, Since Motorola Photon Q is said to be a successor of Photon 4G I thought that there won’t be any difference with build of both these phones.
Why have bought Photon 4G HD Dock? You should have bought “HD Dock for Motorola Photon Q 4g” from Motorola official website or from some other store. I don’t think you should blame Motorola for this, it’s your mistake and not theirs. If possible better get it returned, I don’t know what help you are seeking for this case here.
