Hi, i heard a news about Lenovo releasing windows 8 based tablet called thinkpad 2. Now as i have been a windows users since years and i surely loved using the latest one, Windows 8. I was planning to get one Surface Tablet for me but as it is very costly, i want to go with this one, Thinkpad 2. Hope it costs less than Surface. So, i want to know some details about its performance, specs and features. Could you guys please let me know the same ? :notworthy
If we compare it with Surface Tab it is definitely very cheap in price but too good with windows 8 os. ThinkPad 2 will be running on Atom processor, it will be having a stylus. The tablet features IPS display with 1366 x 768 pixel resolution, 2GB RAM, 8MP rear camera as well as 2MP front facing camera. ThinkPad 2 will come with 64GB built-in storage space with 3G and 4G variant.
Battery life also seems good, it is said to offer atleast 10 hours of battery life in usage mode. As far as accessories are concerned there will be a Dock as well as optional ThinkPad-style keyboard. Other than this users will also get Ethernet jack, micro-HDMI output, fingerprint reader, NFC and much more.

Well, the specs seems to be very impressive. I did bit more research on the same but dint found any words yet on its pricing. But there are few sites that say or expect the price is going to be around Rs 24000-Rs 25000 in India. As per the release date, it will release with the launch of Microsoft Surface (2 days soon or later).
