I don't think so Windows 7 will give any kind of difference at all. If you want to experiment then you can go ahead and see.

What you are getting now is a blue screen, which normally occurs when a particular device's driver is installed and the driver isn't compatible with the motherboard. So that's why it is advisable to uninstall the drivers and update it with the latest one.

Still if the problem exists then i would advise you to take out the peripherals and then test with only one memory in the clear OS. check the required memory voltage in your manual because some memory requires higher voltage than standard. You can also try and update the BIOS as well.
