Is it possible to remove on screen menu button from HTC One X?

Hi friends, I am posting here to know that if this is possible to make a mod to remove the software menu button within the app and instead of this put the long pressing task switcher button for the menu. I want to do this because I think that it makes most of the application to look ugly and the worst thing I takes space on the screen that is totally waste. It becomes more problematic when it comes to watch the videos and it comes on the videos.

These are some of the reasons that I don’t like this and I am sure that there are many of the people who don’t like this and want a change. Please put your thoughts on this over here.

If a lot of people complain/suggest the HTC regarding this then they will surely going to do something for this. I don’t know that if making a mod for this purpose is possible in any way.

I think that it will be great if they can remap the hardware keys within the custom ROM. If this can be done then it is going to be good to make the task switcher button as the menu button.
