Blackberry 9300 or 9360 which one should I prefer when WiFi is a criterion

Hey techfreaks, I have had enough of Android and now I plan to switch to blackberry services. A lot of reasons for that, I wouldn’t like to list all of them now. But yeah, WiFi is undoubtedly a major criterion for the simplest of reasons that I have a strong WiFi enabled at my place and office and I don’t want to rely only on the data plan provided by the data plan provider. Now, I came across these two pieces: Blackberry 9300 and 9600 both of which have been successful to grab my attention and interest. But I am not sure about its WiFi feature. I want someone to help me out with that.

If WiFi hotspot is a criterion, my dear friend, go for 9360 without the slightest of second thoughts. I’ll tell you why! WiFi Hotspot is supported only by devices supporting OS 7 or above and technically Blackberry 9300 doesn’t support OS7 or any other OS above that whereas 9360 supports it and is perfect when it comes to WiFi use.
But I would like to ask one thing, are you by any chance thinking you can use BBM and other Blackberry services?

If I am switching to Blackberry from android, the reason has to be BBM right? Without BBM or other Blackberry services, blackberry is just another phone giving me basic phone services; I’m definitely not looking for that.

Good I clarified, let me tell you, your wifi services won’t assist you in this task. You cannot use BBM or BlackBerry’s native browsers with your WiFi. You can surf internet on other third party applications like Opera and as you said it’ll be just like using any other phone. For BBM and all you need to activate BlackBerry data plans.
