Those might small hinges which keep key stick to the place. There will be a small plastic dome also. Try to see the lower locks. The locks below key and on the keyboard. Match them together properly and try to fix the button on the same. This might work or else you will need to find some videos on youtube that can show how to fix those keys back.
Sounds like you have a broken laptop key hinge, you need to buy a new hinge or complete key, you can buy the hp g6 laptop key with great company, we use them all the time, good luck.
