Well I have installed Windows Vista on my computer. Recently I am using Canon PIXMA MP250. I found that this particular device is not able to scan though it prints without having any issue. also getting an error message that I am not connected. If you are facing the same issue then let me know as early possible. Thanks a lot in advance.
After going through the problem of yours I recommend that you should double check the connection between the device. you can also try to resolve the issue by using different type of the USB port. In case you have connected at the back side of the computer than you should simply connect at the front side of located USB port.
If above mentioned thing did not seems to resolve the issue then give a try to below mentioned step.
- Click on Start button and open Control Panel.
- From the Control Panel Windows you have to select Scanners and Cameras.
- Here you will be able to get Canon scanner. You can easily scan the documents by making use of scanning wizard.
I am highly suspecting that there is an issue with the drivers installed on the computer. Well I am suggesting that you should visit the official website and look for the latest version of drivers and installed the same on the computer and see whether it is making any difference in the situation.
Well looking at the situation I think there is an issue with the hardware failure. Hence I recommend that you should visit the official service center and get the further help.
