After booting keyboard and mouse loose power in MSI X79A-GD65 (8D)
There is the problem in my system after booting even when I get in the window but the usb mouse and the keyboard freezed. Can’t understand what is the problem?
My configuration is:
3930K - never overclocked
H100 Cooler - 4 fans on Sythe Controller
MSI-GD65 Board
2 x 560TI ASUS video cards (stock).1 x Vertex 3 240GB HDD
1 x WD500 RE3 HDD
1 x Samsung Blueray drive
in my old system all the same component but no problem at all. I have tried working with T-Xtreme DDR3-2000 triple channel kit in bios is says they are ok. Mostly I have tried everything but the end result was the same. When installing the window at first boot at that time there was graphic error.

Do you have tried with the SSD or you have tried with one video card and one memory stick only. Because of these it will reduce the system complexity it will narrow the problem down.
Re: After booting keyboard and mouse loose power in MSI X79A-GD65 (8D)
I have tried with these then after I started other errors put my old X58 board and drives and ram back in and they all test ok. There may be the fault with the CPU or the motherboard but in all my year I never had faulty CPU. I will try with the HDD then it says overclock failed even when I am not overclocking.
I have reseted the CPU this morning. Tried removing the ssd and all drives still can’t post while power on then thereis no video then 10 times before it declares "overclock failed" press for setup. Every time I reset I hit the clear cmos. While moving the Quad Channel ram kit, the video cards, hard drives to my old X58 motherboard then it works fine. How would I find the bios version in the new bios?
Re: After booting keyboard and mouse loose power in MSI X79A-GD65 (8D)
I checked the newer version of the beta releases there is the 8 subsequent BETA versions. The latest version is E7760IMS.118 [v1.1b8].see all in the one the 50 fixes are implemented. As your system has two chips it will allow you to choose the one. So, even if the flash wents bad for some reason, you can switch to the other chip.

Have flashed the bios then and examined the system carefully in our workshop. Most off the time its halting on post 69 - which from research indicates "unable to start CPU L2-Cache."
