I am having Samsung galaxy note 1717. At 30% then my battery is of no use after 5.5 hours. After that it sync the display at 20% I could understand that I am having the gray signal area at work because of that it is consuming much battery. Do you have this same problem regarding the battery?
See if you have a week signal then the phone turns up the power to the radios. Because of that it is consuming much of the battery because it tries to keep that week signal connected. Green light is where it's using signal and grey light is where it's not. So because there is very low signal at your work it is consuming much of your battery.
I have Samsung galaxy note 1717 my battery is nice after using 5 hrs 54 min my 66% battery is left. Then I had the display on my auto brightness and gone to 20%. These seem to be a moderate use. In these interval I have 15 emails so far more about 10-15 texts.
I work in a cinder block factory. I have the terrible signals and usage. If I am going to poor reception area for some time then I put the battery in airline mode. There I have plenty of widgets and auto syncs on and 1.5 hours of screen time and the battery is 52%.
I found that there is a battery notifier. I am actually not rooted on my stack ROM. Then I get normally 15hours to 28 hours on my battery. It depends on how many games, photos, email texts, etc . Till now I have maintained it to kill it in about 4hours but on marathon plant vs. the zombies session.
